Our Story
We got mold. Twice.
The first time, we did not know what it was. We saw dark spots on the bathroom ceiling and figured it was just dirt. A few months later, everyone in the house had headaches and stuffy noses that would not go away. We paid a mold inspector $670. He walked through the house, took some samples, and told us we had mold in the bathroom. That was it. He missed the closet. He missed the window sills. He missed the crawl space.
The second time, we knew the signs. But instead of calling another inspector, we tried something different. We used AI to analyze photos of every room in the house.
It found things the inspector missed: rust on light fixtures that proved the mold had been there for over a year. Paint bubbling patterns that pointed to the water source. Closet ceiling corners with full coverage growth from dead air circulation. We thought: why can't everyone have this?

We built it on a 160-point educational checklist informed by the IICRC S520 standard that certified inspectors follow. Not a substitute for a certified inspection. We powered it with leading expert protocols from the leading mold and environmental health physicians. And we backed every claim with published medical research that you can read yourself on our studies page.

We are builders who believe the best tools are simple, honest, and accessible. We are not doctors, and we are not mold inspectors. Our Mission
Make mold detection free and accessible to everyone. Period. Mold affects 47% of American homes (Mudarri & Fisk, Berkeley Lab). Most people do not know they have it until they get sick. A professional inspection costs $300 to $700. That is a barrier that keeps millions of families in the dark about what they are breathing every day.
We want to eliminate that barrier. Basic scans will always be free. If we ever add premium features, they will be on top of the free tier, never replacing it.
