Production safety and scan recovery

Interrupted scans recover safely. The app saves only the metadata needed to resume, checks server status first, and does not charge twice for the same completed scan.
Photos expire quickly. Scan photos use private temporary storage and are removed after analysis, with a cleanup backstop for abandoned uploads.
Reports stay on the device. Public report links, public narration, and cloud report backup are retired.
Safer report boundary. Photo screening does not identify species, diagnose health effects, assign responsibility, or claim to see hidden growth.
Clear product limits. The app explains that a camera cannot measure humidity, moisture, air quality, or growth hidden behind a surface.
Current plans disclosed. The app includes 3 free scans. Optional weekly, monthly, and annual plans unlock more scans.
Site claims corrected. Product pages now describe 266 guided photo prompts across 19 rooms, with 38 in Quick and 129 in Standard, as AI-assisted visual screening with variable processing time.
Separate browser checklist. The free 160-point educational checklist is distinct from the paid mobile app and works locally without an email gate.

Plain confidence bands. Reports use Low, Medium, or High visual confidence instead of fake precision.
Look-alike checks. Regression coverage includes dirt, mineral deposits, rust, water stains, surface growth, damaged porous material, and unusable photos.
